Web 2.0 has been killing my blog. Recently I’ve been very active on Twitter and Friendfeed so if your looking for me I’ll be there. I’ll save the blog for my long winded ideas and rants. Bye
Time Well Spent.

Today I was delayed twice on my way back to Charleston from Salt Lake City. While I waited for my plane (it was four hours late) I pulled out Agile Web Development with Rails, put on some Coldplay and started learning. Four hours later I almost missed my flight because I was so into it. Thats what I call time well spent. Oh Even though I left at 9 in morning I still got home at 1AM. I hate Airports.

After finishing a great book a couple days ago, I went out an bought Stephen Colbert’s new book I Am America (And So Can You!. So far I’ve read about 30 pages and its by far the funniest book I’ve ever read. I hoping to get it autographed since Stephen Colbert went to my school. (w00t! South Carolina!)
Picked Up Two New Books

Well today I picked up two new books at the Borders book store across the street from my hotel in NYC, which I conveniently located using Google Maps on my Blackberry. (I’m telling you Google is taking over the world.) So at this book store I bought a book Dirk recommended, Agile Web Development with Rails. Another book I bought was Everyware, which talks about what I call the “Big Brother Effect”. This “Effect” is where you are in constant communication with everybody and everybody is in constant communication with you. You are always watching and being watched. Everything anybody says or does is recorded and saved. Thats why you have to be careful about what you post on your Myspace or Facebook, because employers are now checking your profile and pictures. Anyway enough with the rant im goign to go finish watching Live Free or Die Hard.
The Waiting Game:Part 2

When I got home today package was waiting for me. I was ecstatic! I was jumping up and down thinking it was my Mac Book Pro. It wasn’t. It was the case I had ordered for the Mac Book Pro. And thanks to the makers they left A nice cardboard cut out of the MBP for me to stare at till next Friday, when Apple says I’ll get my MBP.
